Our original Pyrite has seen massive success as a versatile EDC with an accessible price-point and a snappy button-lock. Some have even called it the best budget knife to date. And while we don’t want to mess with perfection, we’ve decided to change up the formula a little bit. The Pyrite-Alt features a modified Wharncliffe blade and an opening hole rather than the original thumb stud for those who are looking for a more fidget friendly experience. This knife will be offered in all steel handles just like the original Pyrite and is sure to satisfy fans of the original knife

- The blade is manufactured from high chromium AR-RPM9 steel and offers excellent durability in addition to corrosion resistance
- The knife measures 4.2 inches when closed and a total length of 7.3 inches when open
- Handle the knife with ease in any situation with the lightweight, micarta handle; the steel clip allows you to easily attach it to your belt or pocket

We ship primarily USPS. If you prefer FedEx please contact us. Our Shipping Department is closed on the weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and on all Federal Holidays, so any orders placed during the weekend or on a Federal Holiday will ship within the next 2 business days.

5. What kind of packing materials does Artisan Cutlery use?
We are committed to using eco-friendly packing solutions whenever possible. We use air-filled pillow bags that efficiently pack into boxed shipments and reduce the amount of packing material needed for each order. We also use 100 percent biodegradable starch pellets as packing materials. These static-free pellets have the look of old-fashioned plastic packing peanuts but are made to degrade quickly in landfills and are completely petroleum, CFC, and HCFC-free.
