Description

Description:

The Blowback is the first ArtisanCutlery design to utilize their own Recoil-Lock and its aesthetic loosely reminds us of an Andre De Villiers Bowie design. The Recoil-Lock is similar to an AXIS or cage ball lock in its intuitive and ambidextrous functionality and it also launches the blade out so you can wrist flick it with no problem. The Blowback is a full-size knife that is capable of tactical/combat use in addition to everything that one requires from an EDC utility knife. It's also a great hunting/camp knife as the ample belly and sharp tip will make quick work of breaking down big game. The ergonomic handle is milled titanium and the ceramic bearing pivot allows for the ultra-smooth action as the weight of the blade seems to do most of the heavy lifting here. This is a versatile design that you can absolutely count on in a pinch and the Damascus blade is just icing on the cake.
