Description

The Sasaya is CJRB take on the classic Shilin Cutter, a well loved style of knife originating from China that has found popularity all over the world for its wide, versatile blade and simple but elegant design. We've wanted to try our hand at this design for a long time and we feel like the Sasaya gets everything right while making a few key improvements for modern knife users. The name for this knife is derived from the bamboo leaf shaped blade, giving the Sasaya an elegant blade profile that doesn't slack on performance. The handle features contoured G10 scales for comfort and strength as well as steel bolsters to add a little classic flair to the design. The big innovation comes in the form of our buttery smooth button lock running on ceramic ball bearings giving the Sasaya smooth and snappy action every time it's deployed.
