- This Purest chef knife is forged from AR-RPM9 steel. Knives that are produced using this steel are: highly corrosion resistant, maintain a fine sharp edge for an extended period of time, and can be easily maintained and sharpened. We are proud to be using a proprietary spray-form process to keep the grain structure of this steel exceptionally fine, which improves the overall tougness and performance of the steel over time.
- The 8 inch Chef’s Knife is one of the kitchen’s most essential and versatile tools. Designed for both push cuts and the popular rocking motion, this blade is perfectly shaped for slicing, dicing, mincing, and chopping a wide variety of meats, vegetables, and fruits.
- Precision-honed blade and laser-controlled edge ensures ideal cutting angle for sharpness and durability. Ergonomically made ABS handle is durable, resiliant, lightweight and comfort.

We are committed to using eco-friendly packing solutions whenever possible. We use air-filled pillow bags that efficiently pack into boxed shipments and reduce the amount of packing material needed for each order. We also use 100 percent biodegradable starch pellets as packing materials. These static-free pellets have the look of old-fashioned plastic packing peanuts but are made to degrade quickly in landfills and are completely petroleum, CFC, and HCFC-free.
