Description

Originally, the inspiration for this little monster came from a classic butcher knife with a hole in the blade.

Based on that idea, the goal was to create a futuristic cleaver—something with recognizable lines but completely detached from traditional forms. The result? A wild cutting machine, featuring a signature grind with a downward-sloped fuller and a parallel grind, plus a high hollow grind near the tip for extra functionality.

In the closed position, if you rest the knife on the back of the handle and balance it on the protruding part of the blade, it takes on the silhouette of a spaceship preparing for liftoff. A small but satisfying detail that adds to its sci-fi aesthetic.

Despite its aggressive design and bold name, Butcherling is a total pacifist at heart. Its mission? To help with everyday tasks and bring a little joy to the eye—because a good tool should be as satisfying to use as it is to look at.

An EDC knife should handle daily challenges with ease, and Butcherling is built for exactly that. Its geometry turns it into a true multi-tool for cutting:
The high grind at the tip makes slicing through boxes and thin materials effortless.
The low flat grind is the workhorse—perfect for high-stress tasks like cutting copper wire or slicing through tough materials.
The deep hollow grind near the handle sees the least action but shines in precision work… or even peeling veggies (because let’s be honest, a butcher knife peeling potatoes? Now that's the start of a good story).

Small, fierce, and ridiculously functional, Butcherling is designed to slice, pierce, and handle whatever challenge comes its way.

And that big hole in the blade is a tribute to its ancestors. After a hard day’s work, this beast deserves a break—just hang it on a rusty nail and let it rest up for the next round.
