Description

In 2019 we released the original version of the Orthodox, a sleek EDC knife designed to emulate the classic lines of a straight razor. Over the last 6 years the Orthodox has become something of a cult classic with a surprising number of devoted fans who love the distinctive esthetics and functionality of the straight razor profile. Now In 2025 we are proud to present the updated version of the Orthodox that so many people have been asking for. The biggest change that we've made to the Orthodox V2 is the blade grind, we've thinned out the blade stock and changed the full flat grind of the original version to a true hollow grind making the blade sharper than ever. We've also slightly changed the flipper design to allow for better, more reliable action while still keeping the flipper itself low-profile. We've expanded the sharpening coil to make it easier to choke up on the blade. And finally we've changed the handle profile to more of a gunstock shape rather than the teardrop shape of the original version, primarily to provide better grip and ease of deployment. We are incredibly excited to finally get this iconic design into your hands!
